Wks 9 and 10

Just a minor news update about some stuff happening in my life... I'm busy working on stuff for the final last weeks of collage and my graduating class, like previous years, are going to be having a grad show. You can follow our work by following the #illustrationism tag on twitter (and tumblr).
Linkage to my art for your interest, I've just recently uploaded a few new pieces;

Now here's a couple of the songs that I have been listening to that's been getting me through the semester:

And One - Wasted
It's beyond me how this man performs on stage in a suit, I'm not complaining but it must be hot to an extent but he must not notice it by now.

Conjure One - Centre of the Sun

Apoptygma Berzerk - Eclipse

CocoRosie - Fairy Paradise

Combichrist - Sent To Destroy

Nine Inch Nails - Hurt (Live: Beside You In Time) (Explicit)

Joy Division - New Dawn Fades

Depeche Mode- Lie To Me

VNV Nation - Space & Time

Songs Wk 8

I find with Faderhead songs, they either go all the way or fall flat. Here are two examples;
I was expecting something more from this song but no...

Definitely better.

Maybe I'm biased but I like the intensity of Combichrist;

Songs Wk 7

The Birthday Massacre - Burn Away
This song appeared on my tumblr dashboard and made me listen to the rest of Imaginary Monsters.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Loverman

And One - Body Company
Something I was listening to the other day while working on homework.

Bauhaus - Silent Hedges

Claire Voyant - Pieces
A song from one of my favourite movies, Gypsy 83.

Depeche Mode - Only When I Lose Myself

Songs Wks 4 and 5

Seeing how I missed the previous week, extra songs for you :)

How To Destroy Angels - Is Your Love Strong Enough
A beautiful duet between Trent Reznor and his wife, Mariqueen Maandig Reznor. I just recently bought the TGWTDT soundtrack and the whole soundtrack is lovely and dark. It's a must listen.

Bryan Ferry- Is Your Love Strong Enough
Okay, so I just listened to the original version of "Is Your Love Strong Enough". I can appreciate both songs now.

Placebo - In The Cold Light Of The Morning
Not exactly gothy, but it's beautifully done live song. One of my favourites from an underrated band.

Bat For Lashes - A Forest (The Cure Cover)

Hurts - Illuminated

Down Here - Blaqk Audio
After 4+ years of waiting for new material, this is exciting to listen to :)

Amanda Palmer& The Grand Theft Orchestra- Polly (Nirvana cover)
A hauntingly lovely, and yet creepy, cover and video.

Peter Murphy - I'll Fall With Your Knife

Joy Division- Isolation

Conjure One- Sleep
